    Description

US Military US Army Training Handbooks, Field Manuals, Documents 1956-1977.
This is a massive lot of US Army papers, field guides, and handbooks from the Cold War and Vietnam War Eras.
This lot contains manuals for weapons used during Vietnam, on explosives, US Army Ranger training, map reading, combat tactics, and a whole lot more. Most of the set is from the 60s-early 70s, but there are a few pieces from before and after then.
All the pieces in this set are in perfect readable condition as per my browsing through it all, but there are marks on quite a few pages due to the set's age. The soldier who owned this set previously has limited marking through the various guides and handbooks as well.
These books are full of information on how the US fought in the wars of the era, which can be helpful for people who are interested in Vietnam, the Cold War, Cold War Europe, and history in general. It'd also be of interest to veterans of other wars, as they generally enjoy learning about history.
These set's various books are full of illustrations (mostly black and white, but there may be color ones that I didn't see on my quick inspection of the set). This set also includes 3 maps, one of which is of Austria in Europe. There are other odds and ends in this set as well, including a few coordinate scale protractors, guides, range cards, various single sheet papers from the US Army, and similar effects. Preppers are probably apt to enjoy this collection as well!
Included in this set are the manuals:
    MACHINEGUN 7.62-MM, M60   FM 23-67 (October 1964)
    RIFLE, 5.56-MM, M16A1   FM 23-9 (March 1970)

And finally, there are four additional technical manuals from 1968-1971 that talk about grenades, grenade launchers, 40-MM, M203, W/E, Rifles (5.56MM, M16A1, W/E) (5.56MM M16), Bipod, Rifle, M3 W/Carrying Case, Pistols, Caliber .45, Automatic M1911A1, With holsters, Hip and Shoulder, Machine Gun (7.62-MM, M60, W/E), Mount, Tripod, Machine Gun (7.62-MM, M122)
As you can see, this is an absolutely huge set, it's sure to be enjoyed by military history fans.
Since there are so many things in this set, I can't get pictures of it all (eBay cuts you off after just a few pictures), but the pictures in the listing should be enough to give you a good idea of what you're getting in this awesome set!
if you shop around for Vietnam era manuals, you'll see that single pieces can go for as high as 50 dollars or more, so this 26 piece set of manuals and all the other things that I previously mentioned (maps, paperwork, etc.) are actually a pretty good deal! You'd probably pay more trying to find a set like this elsewhere.
Feel free to contact the seller with questions. This set ships to US only.
