    Description

    The Laos 20 Kip Replacement Banknote with series "EA" is part of the 1979-1988 Issues. The obverse side bears the countrys Coat of Arms, a tank, trees, marching soldiers, and a speed boat patrolling the Mekong River. Additionally, it uses a 2-letter prefix and a 7-digit serial number. On the reverse side are workers in a textile mill. This TAP Authenticated banknote is reddish-brown in color and measures 120 x 60mm. It does not have a security thread but has a hammer and sickle with a star designed watermark.
