Description

This is an excellent example of a US M1895 Krag Bayonet converted into a WW1 or WW2 Theater Made Fighting Knife.It has a very sharp 8 & 1/8"" blade with a 6." blood grove on either side .It has steel guard and the handles are in good shape;when I was cleaning off the grim ,I found that a "3 A," was stamped on one side and what could possibly be a "1," on the other side.It has a steel guard and heavy pommel. Everything is super tight and the bayonet lug works;note that the guard has been modified,so that it no longer could be used as a bayonet .It has a leather scabbard  which appears to be much later and  the snap does not work..
