    Description

    Handsome large-format fold-out 1970 BP road map of New York City, printed more than 50 years ago.
    The map opens to 26" x 37½" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally.
    Manhattan and the Bronx are on one side.
    Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island are on the other side.
    The map was distributed by the BP Oil Corporation (today known as BP Amoco) in 1970 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 706213-8, and the code on the back cover is 5-70.
